We held a very special Assembly on Monday morning to say a big thank you to Ms Margaret Kells or Peggy as she is known in our school dining room. Peggy has worked in Newmills Primary School for 27 years providing hot nutritious meals for our pupils but she has decided that it is time for something different.
We were delighted to present her with a cheque for £500 from our parents, pupils and staff, a special handmade card signed by everyone in school and of course a beautiful hatbox full of flowers. We wish Peggy health and happiness for the future.
