This week we decided to investigate how much air we can take into our lungs. We created a very simple spirometer using a large plastic bottle and lots of water. When we blow into the tube it will displace the water and show us how much air is in our lungs. We had to think mathematically to label our bottle with accurate measures which we will be able to use to decide how much air we blew out.
