Today we dived even deeper into our lungs to work out how oxygen travels from our lungs into our blood stream to move around our body. We studied the process of diffusion and experimented with skittles and warm water to watch how particles travel from an area of density to a less dense area. We could see the colour particles travel out away from the skittles and create amazing patterns.
