This week P4/5 had a fantastic time at Parkanaur Forest Park enjoying some outdoor activities in the beautiful sunshine. They worked in small groups to complete an orienteering course that had them developing their map reading skills and following a route around the park. Later in the day they walked further into the forest to use their imaginations to build some very impressive dens.
The children thoroughly enjoyed this opportunity to work outside in a different environment. They always love our outdoor learning times around our school grounds but it was great to have the chance to work within a forest setting.
