We would like to thank Roy from Sentinus for coming into school to work with the children to explore STEM experiments. The children had to build a bridge to help the Billy Goats Gruff get to the other side. They used lots of materials and then checked to see if their bridge was strong enough. After some experiments Roy and the children discussed how to create a strong, structured bridge and see how high they could build it. The children also enjoyed being able to knock it down and predict how it might fall.
