In literacy we have been looking at the poem, ‘The Apple’ by Gillian Floyd. We have been learning lots of information about apples and apple trees and doing some lovely writing. In art we have been printing with apples to create apple trees and also making 3D apples trees using tissue paper and tubes. We think the trees look fantastic and they are going to be part of a display board in our school. Finally, for a special treat, we made our own mini apple crumbles. These were delicious, especially with cream and ice cream!
