P4 and P5 thoroughly enjoyed a cookery demonstration with Wendy from the Livestock Meat Commission recently. They had been studying the very popular topic of farming in World Around Us and there was no better way to finish the topic than a taste test of some delicious chilli beef pasta!
Wendy talked to the children about the farm quality assurance logo and what it means when we see it on packaging. The children loved the afternoon and so many requested a second helping! Thank you Wendy for such an enjoyable presentation.
