Busy bees in P4 and P5
2nd Sep 2022
P4 and P5 had a lovely first week back to school and spent some time tidying the school garden. They proved to be great at weeding and found a selection of minibeasts.
There was great excitement over one caterpillar in particular. We all agreed that it wasn't the prettiest caterpillar we had ever found, but it proved to be a very interesting topic for our creative writing. After some research we learnt that the caterpillar was an elephant hawk moth. I was very pleased that no-one suggested keeping it as a class pet!
