I’m sure you have been watching the news over the weekend in horror as the situation in Ukraine has deteriorated. Colin Tinsley, from Hope for Youth Ministries, has been a regular visitor in our school over the past few years. He is currently in Poland with his wife where he had been holding camps for children, but has decided to stay on as this new situation unfolds.
Colin had put an appeal on social media over the weekend for various items that could be donated and would be transported directly to Poland on Saturday 5th March to a camp where Ukrainians arrive.
As a school we would really like to help the people of Ukraine and have decided to support Colin in his work. If you have any NEW or LIKE NEW of the following items can you please bring them to school by Friday 4th March ready for collection on Saturday.
Items required include:
Toothbrush/toothpaste
Soap/ face cloth/ shower gel
Towels
Single bed fitted sheets/blankets
Pillows
Pillow cases
Shoes
Clothes
Coats
*Can you please ensure that items are clean and in a good condition*.
